The Department of IC – Intelligent Computing, SIMATS Engineering successfully organized a one-day seminar on Ideation and Design Thinking aimed at transforming abstract ideas into concrete startup plans.The workshop was conducted for students to enhance their innovation mindset and entrepreneurial skills.Mr. Shanthababu Pandian, Data and AI Solution Architect from Rolan IT, UK, served as the resource person.The session focused on structured ideation, problem identification, and design thinking methodologies. Students were guided on converting innovative concepts into viable startup models. Real-world examples and interactive discussions enriched the learning experience.

The program encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and solution-oriented approaches. Active student participation made the session highly engaging and impactful. A total of 130 participants attended the seminar with great enthusiasm. The event significantly contributed to fostering innovation and startup culture among students.
